Policy Pubmeet

From 8pm, tonight in the Castle Inn (up the Hill, past Magdalene), CUCA will be holding its first policy pubmeet of the term.

Over a few drinks, we discuss a topical event and its effect - if any - on policy. Tonight, in light of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s recent remarks about incorporating aspects of Sharia law into British law, we shall start by discussing the implications of these comments, what we think of them, and what
we think of relevant broader issues such as what role the Church or even the Royal Family should play in politics and influencing policy.
