In Lent 2005 events included talks by:
Ian Milne, from the Centre for Policy Studies;
Andrew Robathan MP, then a Shadow Defence Minister;
Peter Hitchens, journalist from the Daily Mail;
The Japanese First Secretary, to the Court of St. James.
Other events in Lent term included:
The annual Westminster Tea Party, at the Houses of Parliament;
A debate against the Cambridge University Labour Club;
A trip to the Adam Smith Insitute in London.
Lent 2005 term’s Social events included:
The traditional Chairman’s Dinner which was held at Selwyn College with Richard Fuller as our guest speaker.
